Solarstone is UK based producer & dj Rich Mowatt. responsible for some of club history’s most defining moments. Solarstone music has firmly supported by every trance and progressive dj worth mentioning since the first Solarstone single ‘The Calling’ way back in 1997.
“Solarstone means 100% quality and consistently evolving the genre” (Dj Orkidea, 2008)
Dj:
Renowned as a DJ who never fails to deliver the goods, Rich Solarstone’s worldwide travels have taken in some of the biggest events and festivals across the globe, and also some of the most bizarre, including islands in the Philippines, bush parties in Australia and massive festivals in the heart of Brazil.
“He has what a dj needs: an amazing connection with the crowd & great energy” (ClubOn Brazil ’08)
Label:
Rich also co-runs the ‘Deepblue Records’ and ‘Insatiable’ record labels maintaining a steady flow of high quality and inspirational releases, including some of the biggest club records of recent years – Young Parisians ‘Jump The Next Train’ (2005) and FKN ‘Why?’ (2007) being just 2 top notch examples.
“Deepblue is one of the most consistent and downright cool independents in the county” (Tim Stark – Dj Mag ’06)
