Originally from Washington State, Borja draws inspiration from memories of his early years in the Cascade Mountains, where his musical journey began. Borja's love for sound is only paralleled by his passion for knowledge and the humbling experiences of big city life. All these attributes coalesce in his everyday career at Columbia College in Chicago where he teaches music production, helping to spread his passion for the craft.
Borja new e.p. "Only Ashes Remained" just released on RogueDubs. The title track of the same name, walks the fine line between techno, 2step and dubstep and is certain to move any crowd into a chaotic frenzy of dance. Without compromising the groove, Borja takes you to new depths with They Never Said Die, The Rising Tide and Sword of Truth. Rounding out the release is the seductive and driving track, Disowning the Self. All five songs on the e.p. combine to create an aural landscape, guaranteed to evoke emotion and stimulate the senses.
