This week Temple Fridays presented by Rock It Science features a globally renowned singer, songwriter, producer/remixer, and DJ, Ron Carroll of Electricity.  Da G Twinz also from Electricity will warm up the main floor with their vocal electro/hip hop crossover. Trust hosts the Destiny Lounge featuring Konnect and friends while DJ Von and Tone produce some hip hop beats in the Catacombs.

Ron Carroll (Electricity)


Ron Carroll has worked with many of the world’s most famous producers such as Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclair, David Guetta, and Steve Angello.  He has been engaged in producing, remixing, and contributing vocals on a wide variety of projects. His 2008 super hit, “Walking Down The Street” (“Nike Song”), was released globally and soared in Holland.  He would also collaborate with Bob Sinclair and Axwell on “What A Wonderful World” and co-write music with David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia.


 


When Ron is not in the studio, he often performs at some of the largest electronic dance music events in the world, including Loveland Festival in Amsterdam and Sensation. Today, Ron Carroll is hard at work launching his label, Chi City Music.

They will warm up the main dance floor for Ron Carroll performing their debut single “Dorm Room” and tracks from their album “Dream Life”.

Michael Harms, better known as Konnect in the San Francisco DJ scene, has been into records since the glory days of his portable 8-track player. Originally from the East Coast, he has brought over influences from his start in the Baltimore Club scene, and is now Redefining Bass Music here in the Bay Area with Hard and Heavy Beats.
