Texas bass mainstay Wolf-E-Wolf is getting some love from Liquid Stranger's Wakaan label. A veteran of the underground bass scene, this Austinite had been hustling in various capacities around the industry before his Encrypted EP caught the attention of Martin Stääf. It's Weird Bass at its finest, so there's no questioning the Stranger's intention.

Today, we premiere "Bad Boi Sound," a growling, trappy cutter that shrieks at the top end and positively rumbles in the subsonic region. With a bit of island flair and a snarling patois, this is one of the hottest tracks on this solid 4-track collection. Snag Encrypted from Wakaan on July 29.
