As the end of summer nears, fall's colorful head turns towards tour season. This autumn Weird Bass will be washing over the nation like the leaves that cover the ground. Wakaan presents the Weird & Wonderful Tour. Liquid Stranger, Bleep Bloop, Perkulat0r, and Shlump will be criss-crossing the country from September to November with close to 50 dates.
If last fall's tour with Space Jesus and Au5 was the coming out part for Martin Stääf's Wakaan label, this is the victory lap of subsonic prowess with a whole new cast of characters who are ready to change the face of the game.
All these dudes have some serious reputations preceding them. The legend Liquid Stranger is headlining this stacked tour. Martin seems to be constantly on the road, leaving his mark on both coasts and everything in between. The Stranger has collected a murderer's row of bass butchers to unleash on North America this fall. Things are going to get super weird.
Bleep Bloop is one of the four horseman of weird bass. He leaves producers and fans alike awestruck by his productions. The quality of the soundscapes he creates is admired far and wide. Here is a tune with Zeke Beats:
Perkulat0r is a dark up and comer. His vibe is deep and soulful yet simultaneously heavy. A strong addition to the army of weird bass. Check out his tune Borderlines and you'll see what I mean.
Last but not least is Shlump. He is who I pick for my Trial by Combat. This dude lays it down. He is The Mountain of the weird bass, crushing skulls with his bare hands. It's hard to keep a straight face while listening to this tune.
This tour is not one to miss. Go grab tickets!
