They pulled it off. With a handful of rehearsal sessions, some help from friends, and the support of the thousands of fans who attended The Werk Out 2014, The Werks, Papadosio, and Dopapod joined forces to perform inarguably one of the most legendary albums of all time. Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is by no means easy to play, with its multitude of parts, outrageously difficult vocal melodies, and the monkey on your back of possibly fucking up a seminal piece of music. Because everyone knows how it's supposed to go.
Gorgeously shot and edited by Jeremey Sewell and his crew, the three bands switch parts, and bring in some guests like sax man Nicholas Gerlach and the powerful pipes of Zach Deputy, to give Dark Side an absolutely triumphant tribute. Watch the video below to hear from the guys in their own words how they made it work. Pretty remarkable stuff.
