In anticipation of his upcoming new EP, Up Until Now has released a remix of indie darlings Purity Ring’s hit tune “Belispeak.”

Jay Murphy of Up Until Now has so far lived his life completely centered and orbiting around music. With his newest project he distills the pure essence of music that has always driven him and channels it into electronic dance music with the sole purpose of making bodies move.

Drawn to the slurpy hip-hop beat and ethereal female vocals of “Belispeak,” Up Until Now flips the tune on its head, taking it for a walk down electro lane with a dance friendly low end thump and pulsing synth textures. Perfectly suited for both a dance floor shaking DJ set and a head nodding indie playlist, Up Until Now’s take on this by-now-familiar song is a refreshing interpretation of the Canadian duo’s signature sound.
