5. CounterPoint - Kingston Downs, GA - April 25-27
CounterPoint - Kingston Downs, GA - April 25-27

Try to look at the Counterpoint lineup without drooling. Shpongle, GRiZ, Flux Pavilion, Big Gigantic, A-Trak, Thievery Corporation, Above & Beyond, Flosstradamus, STS9, and the big man, Pretty Lights. The festival took a year off, regrouped, changed its dates to April, got some tips from Tomorrowland (which took place in the same area), and rallied to come back bigger, better, and bolder. OutKast will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in its hometown of Atlanta. How badass will THAT be?

4. Envision - Uvita, Costa Rica - Feb 20-23
Envision - Uvita, Costa Rica - Feb 20-23

There is no question Envision is an experience like no other. Transformational, intentional music and performance in an exotic location. An intimate festival experience that will change your life. Bouncing back from heart surgery, Tipper is posting up two sets, and we're pretty sure we'll be seeing folks weeping, hugging, laughing, and probalby exploding with joy simultaneously. We've been looking forward to this one for a while--an entirely unique journey to the center of yourself.

3. SXSW - Austin, TX - March 7-16
SXSW - Austin, TX - March 7-16

When it comes to finding the best of the best in the industry, seeing what 2016 is going to be all about, and getting the dankest tostada you've ever had, you should have booked your flight and room 6 months ago. This year's dance/electronic offerings including Kaytranada, Goldroom, Poolside, Wick-it The Instigator, Viceroy, and Savant. Yeah, and all the unofficial after parties and showcases are always too cool for school. SXSW is the jewel in Austin's live music crown.

2. Coachella - Empire Polo Grounds - Indio, CA - April 11-13, 18-20
Coachella - Empire Polo Grounds - Indio, CA - April 11-13, 18-20

Anticipation was at an all-time high when Coachella finally released its lineup. And good luck if you're interested in going, because the damn thing is already sold out. It's the festival your parents have heard of. The SoCal hipster haven boasts a lineup including Skrillex, Bonobo, Disclosure, Duck Sauce, Flume, Chromeo, The Glitch Mob, and so many more. And don't forget about The Do Lab's stage, which will be unveiling its own left field electronic lineup very, very soon.
