Serenity GatheringThere's stacked, and then there's stacked.

It was like the organizers of Serenity Gathering were reading our diaries. Spanning sacred bass to melodic dubstep to trap to electro-soul to straight up hip-hop, all sorts of underground genres, brands, labels, collectives, and sounds are represented. And if we had to pass judgment, we'd say they're our absolute favorites in all of those various niches.

Now in its second year, Serenity moves to the La Jolla Indian Campground in Pauma Valley, CA, a short trip out into the desert from San Diego. Running from March 19-22, a monster number of acts have been stuffed into a short window of time.

There are going to be a ton of acts on the lineup, and we know that it can be a little overwhelming when it comes to deciding who to catch, so the staff of The Untz got together to do you a favor. We ranked the Top 10 Serenity Artists based on sound, style, and personal pleasure, making sure you know who the best of the best is. We could have ranked these 10 acts a number of different ways, but after a few false starts and fist fights, we landed on our ten.

Remember, you can win a PAIR of tickets to Serenity Gathering by entering our ticket contest. No better way to kick off the festival season than with a free pair of tickets to one of the raddest events on the planet, huh?

9. Manic Focus
After his monster run with The Floozies, Manic Focus is becoming bigger and bigger out on the west coast. John McCarten comes back to southern California to funk things up as a superstar, this time around!
8. Mikey Lion
