7. No Way Out
Easy breezy. This one's chiller than a frozen steak. And just as raw. There's a kinetic energy that's palpable in even the most laid-back Gramatik tune. He ain't sweatin' it, and neither should you. Smoke an ounce to this.
In leaving Pretty Lights Music, Gramatik had to pave his own way, and "Bluestep" was his path to a new sound, and a new era. Taking the hard-edged sounds of dubstep and blending it with soulful, classic American guitar riffs, Denis crafted a whole new genre into which he could sink his teeth. Yum.
5. Grizmatik - Digital Liberation is Mad Freedom
When we found out that Gramatik was partnering up with GRiZ, we were absolutely floored. Fusing the sounds and styles of the pair's most iconic albums to date, DLIMF became the calling card of a whole new generation of bass music fans. Damn, those first few Grizmatik performances were absolutely electric. And they're coming back for a big run this Halloween weekend!
