1. The Floozies
Melting hearts and funkifying dancing feet across America! We have nothing but love for this emerging powerhouse made up of two brothers, Matt and Mark Hill from Lawrence, Kansas. A prime example of this comes from a personal story of my first concert. It was a sold out, album release party at Terminal West in atlanta and the only drawback was I didn’t have a ticket. I wasn’t sweating it though; I knew that the funky Gods of glitch would shine down upon my drunken ass and I ended up inside somehow. I had been lucky enough to arrive at one of the best damn jam shows I had seen in a while. The floozies are number one on this list for a reason. They have a tremendous stage presence that energizes people to a new level, they have the brother-thing going for them and let’s face it, girls love that shit. Last but not least, they are loved by my friend AnnMarie, who, is going to flip the fuck out when she sees that they are number one. Thanks AnnMarie for taking me to see The Floozies!
