You had to see this one coming. We know how much you guys love Pretty Lights, and you know we share a mutual love affair with his revolutionary works of art. We would have been dishonest to ourselves and our fans if we didn’t pick A Color Map of the Sun for the number one spot. The man is a legend, and with that comes die-hard fans. We respect that, and we also respect the grueling process Derek Vincent Smith went through while creating his latest LP—a truly unique process. Gorgeous doesn’t do the album justice. Every second is integral to the entire spectrum. Each instrument, each pitched vocal, each glitched out snyth possesses value. Congratulations Mr. Smith. You went in.
