Freaks from all parts of the universe coalesce to transform into the entity known as Wakaan. The compilation MEANWHILE... combines all their forces into a mind snapping surreal leviathan. This colossal lineup consists of the entire Board of Directors from the weird bass scene: Freddy Todd, Yheti, Liquid Stranger, Space Jesus, Bleep Bloop, Mr. Bill, Shlump, Sayer, Of the Trees, and so many more. It's ludicrous the amount of weight on this 17-track compilation.

There is no shortage of bass with this lineup. Massive walls of sound deserving to be played through the largest subwoofer you can find. Originality is something prominent throughout the compilation. With a bass scene that can get over saturated at times, this crew of multidimensional delinquents keeps landing on fresh soil. It’s rare that so much talent be released on a compilation but we can honestly say each tune on MEANWHILE… is one worth remembering. They are unique, innovative, and enormous. This compilation proves that the whole Wakaan family are creative meddlers with sound waves.

What's even more ridiculous is that this monster comp is FREE. You can download it and share it with your less-informed homies to look like the coolest mofo on the block.

Some standout tracks include Liquid Stranger and Space Jesus' "SPACE BOSS," Bleep Bloop's "Obsidian," Shlump's "FUNK (Beat-Box)," Toadface's "Glands," Zebbler Encanti Experience and Halfred's "Grade A," and Djank Yucca's "Jungle Beast." But honestly, the whole thing is fire.
