The world is not going to end on December 21st, 2012. It's going to begin. The shift that accompanies the end of the 13-Baktun cycle on the Mayan calendar will bring peace and prosperity to the world; a great unification of people and ideas will spread around the globe and out across the universe. And in that spirit, let's usher in the dawn of a new age with the party of the millennium.
TheUntz.com is joining forces with Euphonic Conceptions and an-ten-nae to present RE:SYNCH at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco on Friday, Dec. 21st. The Untz is celebrating its 3rd anniversary on this historic date, and we're surrounding ourselves with some of the biggest and brightest artists in dance music to commemorate the special day.
Legendary bass music act FreQ Nasty will anchor the festivities, alongside Wick-it the Instigator, who is quickly becoming one of the most viral sensations in all of EDM. His countless remixes, originals, and mash-ups have rocketed around the web, landed on commercials, and made plenty of "Best of 2012" lists.
Young talent is in full force with a backing ensemble of hip-hop great Sleepyhead, and bass pioneers Project Aspect, jOBOT, and Psymbionic. Ranging from glitch to full on dubstep dirtiness, these acts are crafting the most cutting edge tunes today. Akara, MiHKAL, and Audiovoid will be bringing the psychedelic feel to 1015 Folsom, with exploratory sets reflecting the Mayan event.
The stage is set for another massive anniversary for The Untz, and more surprises are in store as the date approaches. Tickets will be $15 in advance, and $20 at the door, but we encourage you to jump on pre-sales as this show will sell out. With the confluence of all these cosmic events, we want to share this paradigm shift with all our friends in the Bay Area. Remember, it's not the end--a new beginning is on the horizon.
