Why should Christmas and New Year’s have all the December fun? Start the party early and prep for the in-laws’ visit with our annual year-end celebration, aptly titled The End. (Didn’t see that one coming… did you? And no… your in-laws will not be the death of you.) Hard to believe this darling baby of a website, TheUntz.com, will be turning four years old. My… they grow up so fast. It was diapers and teething rings just the other day.And in traditional Untz fashion, this blowout will be HUGE. Who doesn’t love a good birthday bash--especially when it’s put on by folks who refuse to compromise. (THAT’S US!) There will be music (I just HAD to say it), dancing, and plenty of mayhem.
A recent addition to the star-studded lineup is one of our favorite Canadians, ill-esha. She's been tearing it up on the road with Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, and Beats Antique--the three badass "B"s bringing along the fierce singer-producer who can throw down bangin' beats, or switch it up and go deep and sexy. She's a whirlwhind on stage, and we're thrilled to be celebrating the big FOUR with her.
We’ve snagged several of our favorite players in the biz to help us shake shit down all night long. Mama ain’t lying. Our man, Wick-it the Instigator is on board… and we couldn’t be more stoked. Seriously, this guy is family. He’s been around since we started out and we’ve always kept close tabs. It’s funny, one of the first articles on TheUntz.com I ever read was about Wick-it. This bro was blood before I heard him drop a single beat. Check out his fly new mix here featuring five previously unreleased tracks.
California native Singularity will also join the festivities; take heed… if you haven’t heard this young producer yet, you are totally missing out. He recently released his Rift EP, and it’s a sweet little package.
In fact, all the hot Cali kids have signed to show: Mutrix, K Theory (with their awesome live band), Sugarpill, and Clark Kent, to name a few. Add Canadian trap sensation Stylust Beats, and don’t forget legendary hip hop act, Hieroglyphics, is scheduled to head the bill. We’ve really lined up a key crew and done everything within our power to ensure you celebrate our birthday right. Know we are nothing without you, our fans.
