Monstercat just released five new remixes of Televisor's "Old Skool." Each is done by a separate artist: Nitro Fun, Fractal, Alex Mind, Different Heaven and Aero Chord. The best part about them is they are all wonderfully produced; however, the worst part is that they are all wonderfully produced. I find it difficult to pick favorites.

The UK group's indie dance/pop sound already has a funky fresh feel to it, but Nitro Fun puts a fresh electro and progressive house spin in the mix which really makes it bump. Fractal brings a slower more mystical feel at first then drops electro house. He stays true to his dubstep sound later in the song. Alex Mind's remix drops with heavy electro house. When I first heard it come in, the sound reminded me of artists like Zedd and Sander Van Doorn. Different Heaven's mix does a pretty good job with his progressive house remix. However, the last remix is by no means at all the least, and it just so happens to be my favorite, if I absolutely have to choose.

Aero Chord does an awesome job of making an already funky song even funkier. He brings the beat back into a heavy glitch hop sound that'll make you unable to sit still. The Mostercat label continues to show that independent labels are all too relevant, and will continue to change the status quo of this industry.
