Surprise! EDC Chicago added as a stop on The Untz Challenge IV

You probably thought it was kind of odd that we at TheUntz.com were giving amateur DJs, producers, and electronic acts the opportunity to hit nine festivals this summer as part of The Untz Challenge IV. Why nine? That's such a strange number... well here's your answer: it's because we were holding onto one final festival: EDC Chicago.That's right, the inaugural Electric Daisy Carnival in Chicago is being added as the TENTH stop on The Untz Challenge IV's summer festival circuit. For the first time ever, Insomniac is bringing its roving mega-massive to the Windy City, and The Untz is giving the two winners of the challenge an opportunity to join a bill with some of the biggest names in electronic music including David Guetta, Martin Solveig, Borgore, Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin, Benny Benassi, Borgore, Crizzly, Brillz, Mimosa, Noisia, and Armin van Buuren, just to name a few.
The festival will take place May 24-26 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL, and for the first and only time in EDC's history, there will be on-site camping available in an adjacent area over the course of Memorial Day Weekend.
Summer Camp Music Festival (May 24-26 - Chillicothe, IL), Wakarusa (May 30-June 2 - Ozark, AR), Infrasound (May 31-June 2 - Black River Falls, WI), IMPULSE (June 6-9 - Atlanta, GA), Sonic Bloom (June 13-16 – Georgetown, CO), Electric Forest (June 27-30 - Rothbury, MI), Lightning in a Bottle (July 11-15 - Temecula, CA), The Big Up (Aug 8-10 - Claverack, NY), and recently announced newcomer ARISE (Aug 14-18 - Loveland, CO) round out the prize package for the winner of the popular vote in The Untz Challenge, as well as the staff pick.
