After supporting their Florida run this past spring with Jimkata, we at The Untz fell in love with Stokeswood, the five-piece synth-pop act from Atlanta, GA. With their latest video, "Our Streets," the 10-year veterans of the hard-touring indie-electro-jam circuit will no doubt be plucked from their own streets and plopped in front of mainstream audiences.

The video, artfully directed by Eli Berg (and featuring some capable acting chops from lead singer Adam Patterson) has the "right look" to accompany the "right sound," from the band, who could easily win radio play with this sunny, triumphant hit. The Tears for Fears-meets-Holy Ghost! retro wave darling has just enough electronica, and just enough power to finally put the quintet on the right road to high-profile support slots and beyond. When the band looks back, they'll know this was the one that put them over the top.
