The summer announcements keep rolling in from our favorite underground bass partners. We're proud to present to our gang of rabid subsonic junkies an intimate family and friends vibe event in upstate New York.
The initial lineup for Starfall Music Festival is live. Featuring a barrel full of up-and-coming bass music superstars, the event hits Ellicottville, NY from July 28-31, just an hour south of Buffalo.
The headline is the two label showcases topping the bill. Our pals ThazDope Records will be bringing out Alejo, Psydell, beardthug, Eazybaked, JuJuBeats, Smokestax, Brainrack, Cut Rugs, Deerskin, Danny Grooves, and many more rising acts to the stage. Your host and MC will be the one and only Spankalicious. They'll also be joined by fellow midwest bass cadets Toortous, who sport Pizza Prophet, Tangled Branches, Mt. Analogue, Cave Dwlr, Zipse, and more.
Electric Sunshine Cult, partners with ThazDope on the Beach Party Massive that hits the same area the month before on the banks of the Erie, will be bringing out its own host of local and regional talent. More regional artists will be announced in the next phase, but prices will stay low to make this as inclusive an event as possible. A number of promoters from the area are coming together as the Greater Buffalo Collective to bring this event back (it's now in its second year, after an initial run in 2014), and the organizers want to keep that grassroots spirit.
There will be 7 stages at this event, and a number of options in terms of camping, with free showers and tons of amenities. Early Bird tickets are on-sale now for just $75. Limited car camping is available, too.
