Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett. Elton John and Kiki Dee. Cher and Beavis & Butthead. There have been odder pairings than Skrillex
and Damian Marley, but it still turned some heads when "Make it Bun Dem" dropped a day ago. Strangely enough, Skrillex actually lays in the cut with this track. Jr. Gong holds most of the focus with his rapping patois, and surpasses most of his Nas-based catalog in one fell swoop. Sure, there's an intense breakdown towards the back end of the cut, but Sonny Moore let's the most successful heir of the Marley dynasty do his thing. We don't think this will spur a tour or even an entire album like some of Damian's previous collabs, but it's still an interesting concept, and quite a catchy tune. Just a different look from two of the biggest stars on the scene.
