Favorite ThisSignal Path Releases Second Installment of QuadrILLogy

Published: June 25, 2011

With the release of Minds Make LightsSignal Path is sticking to its promise of releasing an album section at the beginning of each season during 2011. This second installment of the four-part QuadrILLogy features flashy production work from Ryan Burnett, who handles most of the compositional and live production elements of the SP package. Four tracks of glitchy, warbling bass and throwback samples bring more of a Coloradan hip-hop edge to this segment. "Touch" deepens the cut with eerie academic musings on sound, coupled with flute runs and flutters of digital hysteria. The Signal Path sound is growing, evolving, and adapting to the changing climate even within these distinct album sections. The trio brings its live electronic take on glitch and dubstep to the foot of the Rockies today at Sonic Bloom.
