Since closing out his Human Error Mixtape with it more than a year ago, fans have been harassing Sayer to drop his hard-hitting midtempo collab with NastyNasty. Well, the bass gods have smiled upon us and our time has come. “Starscraper” sees Arden Sayer and Jasper Reeder exploring retro techno and acid rhythms and tempos while utilizing bygone effects and forward-thinking synths. It's a tune for experimental bass fans at a crossroads, wondering where is the sound going next and looking to both the past and the future for inspiration.

I know what inspires me personally is seeing these two badasses on The Untz Festival lineup alongside the likes of Proko, Tsuruda, Digital Ethos, and Conrank, but I don't think that I'm alone.
