When it comes to his own meticulous productions, sound wizard Ben Samples isn't going to let any old Joe off the street get his grubby hands on his babies. He's going to let only the best in bass handle his prized work. The remixes for Appetite for Construction found their way to his best homies: Papa Skunk, Encanti, Sir Charles, and the one-and-only, Kraddy.
Matthew Kratz knows a thing or two about rock 'n' roll, the lifeblood that really binds him deeply with Samples. The pair take pride in their subsonic, sub-wrecking jams, and on "Limitless," all doors are kicked in, and all walls are hurdled. Kraddy rocks some signature Samples synths, but doses them with a flurry of 808s and hip-hop elements. The fusion of swirling soundscapes is a classically combinatory effect.
