The Do LaB announces the music, yoga, and speaker lineup for Rise & Shine Gathering from Oct 19-21, 2012 at Hummingbird Ranch in Simi Valley, California.

The music lineup for The Do LaB’s Rise & Shine Gathering has been announced, featuring headliners and electronic music super talents Bonobo, Emancipator, Karsh, Phutureprimitive, Marquest Wyatt, Govinda, Nickodemus, The Earth Harp, Dub Kirtan Allstars, David Starfire, Janover, Desert Dwellers and over 30 more additional performers listed below.

Rise & Shine will bring together a community of health, consciousness, and sustainability. This special event will unite the best elements of a music festival, yoga retreat, an educational conference, and a Do LaB party with the environmental mission to provide an event where attendees can participate in forward thinking to better understand our place on the Earth at this important time in history.

Carrying the love and inspiration created at the celebrated Lightning in a Bottle festival into a deeper place, Rise & Shine will be led by renowned teachers and leaders to lovingly guide attendees in the practice of yoga, meditation, and healthy ways of living and being.

To stretch your body and mind, yoga teachers will include Hala Khouri, Suzanne Sterling, Mark Whitwell, Micheline Berry and over 20 additional instructors. There will also be over 20 workshops and classes with speakers such as Starhawk, John Robbins, Daniel Pinchbeck, Jai Dev Singh, Mark Lakeman, and Jamie Janover covering topics around permaculture, 2012: The Great Turning, urban restoration, medicinal foods, earth activism, essential oils, goddess history, ritual movement art, and more.  Please see complete yoga and speaker list below.

The event provides an intimate setting where the bonds and lasting impressions created at other intentional festivals can be further explored and put into positive action. At its core, Rise & Shine is a call to action for all those who believe in the restorative power of the spirit within us all, and our ability to channel that power into actions that create a world where all may thrive for many generations to come.
