The purple master is back, and... purplier than ever? Yeah, that works.

Martin Folb, in his nomadic pursuit of the perfect beat, has traveled from South Africa to SoCal, Silicon Valley to the Big Apple, and on down to the beaches of Miami (the reverse LeBron). Spending a great deal of the year on the road last year with Ooah in PANTyRAiD pushed MartyParty to pursue a straight up hip-hop project in MLKMNY with Tk Kayembe. With an emphasis on straight-ahead beats for rappers with a foundation in electronic music concepts and trends, the pair have amassed quite a catalog of ice cold pockets.

Today, we're proud to premiere Purple Chill, a collection of all original tunes from both the MartyParty and MLKMNY repertoire. The mixtape runs from cut to cut with interstitial touches that are both tough and tender. The purple prevails in this silky smooth flow. Wake and bake, my friends. This is your summer session soundtrack.
