PartyWaveIt's a busy month for Corey McCarley. In the midst of all his jet-setting around the country playing high profile gigs, he's also got a brand new PartyWave EP dropping on his home label, ShadowTrix Music, on November 7.

We've been huge fans of McCarley since his Banyan album dropped on STM last year. He was also one of the headliners on the ShadowTrix stage at The Untz Festival this past summer. The San Diegoan-turned-Hawai'ian is known for his slick, in-the-cut grooves with tribal elements all in a thrilling club setting. It's a stew of sounds that really defies description, but you can't help but nod your head when you hear it.

The title track to Indian Summer is no different. Super laidback vibes make us close our eyes and sway hypnotically. It's a gorgeous, yet vivacious tune with tons of cool little tricks and effects warranting multiple listens.

He's back in the ol' hood this Friday at Winston's in San Diego, then Tahoe, Orlando, Sacramento, and closes out the month on Black Friday at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe with fellow fest alums Desert Dwellers on November 24.
