There's no denying it, the new sound is trap. Whether it's a passing fad, or it echoes the explosive popularity of dubstep of which we've borne witness these past couple of years, we would be remiss if we didn't seek out its most talented purveyors, and at least make an attempt at clairvoyance--closing our eyes, touching the tips of our index fingers to our tempes, and attempting to predict just who's going to be the hottest rising star to ride trap to the top. We've got one horse in the race, Owen Jones (a.k.a. Owen Bones
) who joined Facebook a couple of minutes ago, released a hundred tracks, and is already hitting his download limit on most of them. Two of those are mild exaggerations, but literally in the last month, Bones has turned some heads, and we'd like to jump on his bandwagon as early as possible. Unique production techniques, hooky lines, and his prolific nature are going to take this 18-year-old Chicagoan places. Let's see just how far.
