It's been a rapid ascension in the production world for up-and-comer Erik Zeldes. The young producer from Detroit only started working in the electronic music realm two years ago, and already he's hurtling towards the February 1st release of Living inFormation, his new 4-track EP coming out on Boston-based, genre-agnostic label, Transcendent Tunes.

Today's premiere from Mynah is a departure from the rest of the release, which centers around dark and dubby psy bass. "Gravity Waves," with its light piano licks and major key melodies feels lighter and airier, following more in the footsteps of some iconic 80's peddlers in eletronic musings, like happier New Order material. While it eventually descends into some heavier bass, the track is still on the upbeat side of the spectrum.

With Mynah's sharp accrual of electronic music production acumen, we imagine we'll be hearing more from him soon.
