Art Outside 2015

While the thoughts of many festival goers are firmly planted on this summer's schedule, those in the know are already anticipating fall, with the release of the initial lineup of Art Outside. The boutique festival with an extra emphasis on the art and culture aspect today revealed its first phase music lineup to much acclaim.

Headliners include Michal Menert, BoomBox, and a DJ set from Nightmares on Wax. The biggest story of the electronic side of things is not only the presence of Bluetech and KiloWatts on the same festival bill, but the presence of their duo project Invisible Allies. UNTZ faves Shigeto, Sixis, and Nominus also make the bill, with non-electronic headliners Greensky Bluegrass and Lettuce towering over the bill.

Art Seen Alliance has thrown 10 of these events in the past, and then 11th is sure to be bigger and better than any in the decadelong history. The festival returns to Apache Pass in Downtown, TX from October 22-25, and will feature a bevy of artists from around the state and around the world. The larger-than-life installations, performance artists, and workshops make the music just one part of the whole, which really is a celebration of the mind, body, and soul.

Tickets and more info available at artoutside.org. Mind-bogglingly low festival passes are available for just $99 + fees, and primitive camping is FREE, as always.
