As part of the third installment in TheUntz.com's SONIC BLOOM Fresh Beatz Series, Michael Garfield debuts two live tracks from his Loopers' Night at Strange Brew in Austin, TX.

Back on May 7, Garfield recorded some of his patented electroacoustic looping which involves routing his acoustic guitar through half a dozen pedals as well as Ableton Live. These spacey compositions take on new life as he rearranges, builds, and deconstructs them on-stage. The Synesthesia Music Visualizer also pairs nicely with the haunting, introspective songs.

"Transparent" really encapsulates that surreal feeling, while "The Weirder Half" with special guest Nicole Taylor on viola gets a bit darker and more psychedelic. Michael Garfield will be performing his electroacoustic magic on the Sunday of Bloom, easing in and invigorating festivalgoers on the closing day of the festival.

SONIC BLOOM celebrates its 10th family reunion at a new location: Hummingbird Ranch in Rye, CO from June 18-21.
