Welcome to Botany 101. Jamie Watts is breaking it down with the desert flora on his brand new album, Seven Succulents, dropping this coming Tuesday (Feb 18th). Some fans of KiloWatts might have learned of the brilliantly bold classical pianist and composer-turned-producer through his Invisible Allies project with Bluetech, but it's his collaborations over the years with fellow Philly fanatic Mike Greenfield of Lotus that mold the new release. That aesthetic carries over to "Gollum Fingers," the free download we're thrilled to be premiering today. The chill breaks sketch fills out more and more as the piece crescendos into an all out jam reminiscent of the post-rock outfit who calls the city of Brotherly Love home.
