In the midst of their Bolt To Miami tour, IRIS Presents is bringing breakbeat legends Freestylers to Atlanta this Saturday (March 22). This British duo has played some of the biggest festivals on the planet in its almost two decade career. Having traveled all the way around the world, the rest of the EDM scene has finally caught up to this inventive act who has managed to stay relevant through the boom and bust years of dance music.
It was just a few years ago now that Flux Pavilion reinvigorated Freestylers interest by remixing their legendary "Cracks," and now IRIS is bringing the boys to Rush Lounge (2715 Buford Hwy) in ATL to teach the community about old school breaks.
A special addition to the show is the bass godzilla, himself, ajapai. Bringing the heavy with reckless abandon, ajapai is one of the loudest, raunchiest, and filthiest dubstep DJs in the game. Easily one of the best, and by far one of the most intense, an ajapai show is one you'll not soon forget. Do not forget to bring your earplugs.
There are so many support acts on the bill, like Brazen, Angie Star, and Stranger Candy, to name a few, who will be filling up the four different zones IRIS offers each Saturday. In addition to cryo cannons and the IRIS girls, the hottest light and sound production is imported every week to turn Rush into the most advanced EDM platform in the southeast.
