Favorite ThisIDentity Festival San Francisco

Following the resounding success of last year's inaugural IDentity Festival, the biggest touring electronic music show in the county is back and better than ever. On August 17th, ID Fest rolls through the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, just outside San Francisco.

The first round of lineup announcements happened over the weekend, so most of you were probably  too deep in music at Summer Camp or Lightning in a Bottle or your mom's potato salad that you even noticed. Headliners include Eric Prydz, one of Sweden's most beloved house exports, and Paul van Dyk, a trance legend and one of the lucky few to have held the #1 DJ in the world distinction. Bass god Excision is bringing his monstrous soundas well as Doctor P, Showtek, Arty, and red-hot Dutch act NOISIA. Le Castle Vania makes his triumphant return to the IDentity stage on this stop, as well.

Tickets went on sale THIS morning at ten o'clock through Live Nation and the $25 "Early Bird" tickets have already sold out. So, if you weren't one of the lucky (prepared?) fans this morning who picked up on one of those discounted tickets you had better hurry.  The next price level for limited advance tickets is $40 flat. No service charges, extra fees or anything, don't miss out, after that they head back to their original price of $60.
