For an underground electronic artist who has been producing in the late 90's, and is uttered in the same breath as Squarepusher, not much is known about Himuro Yoshiteru, other than the fact that he lives in Tokyo and works predominantly on commercial projects.

His latest EP, Fushigi Man, found its way to Canadian label King Deluxe, and on September 14th, will find its way to the nerdy underbelly of left-field sonic collectors (of which we consider ourselves members). Today's premiere of "Takhos" reminds us of Aphex Twin, and some of the better IDM that has cropped up over the past few years. It's fun, it's quirky, and it's way, way out there.
