Favorite ThisGhetto Sexuual Releases First Remix In A Four Part Series

Published: March 24, 2011

Ghetto SexuualGhetto Sexuual, the duo more Chicago than Wilco and the Cubs combined (although Wilco is carrying most of the weight in that relationship), has released their first in a series of four remixes.  LoBounce and Stratus, the brains behind the outfit, have taken a run at an 80's classic, "Tainted Love," originally recorded in 1965 by Gloria Jones, but reinvigorated by Soft Cell in '82.  Not surprisingly, these young gentlemen have excised the vox from Marilyn Manson's take.  Carlo Pasquesi and Patrick Stratton employ heavy synths and their patented bouncy beats to kick this track in the taint.  Peep the Inspector Gadget-style breakdown, too.  How do they put the Ghetto Sexuual stamp on a tune that's been around the block?  See for yourself, and don't forget to check out Bouncetown, LoBounce's debut album released last month.
