2016 has claimed another electronic music casualty. It was announced via social media today that Josh Young, founding member of Chicago trap duo Flosstradamus, will be leaving the group to pursue his solo career.
In a video to fans, Young explained he's been planning on leaving the duo since the summer, but felt the need to complete the HDY NATION tour which wrapped this past weekend in Texas. Young's partner, Curt Cameruci, plans to continue Flosstradamus as a solo venture. Young thanked the fans, and in his own statement, Cameruci thanked Young. The split appears amicable.
