FilibustaTroy Probst is on a winning streak, which comes as no surprise to us. He's always had an affinity for the imagery of gambling; first submitting his winning track "Let It Ride" to The Untz Challenge last year, and then unloading "High Roller" on us today.

The new Filibusta album Set Lasers to Funk Vol 1 drops on 4/20, and comes packed to the gills with the funkiness, as promised. Today's premiere pumps plenty of bass into a groovy cut full of vintage sounds and samples. Straight up future funk at its finest. The little synth lick that gets us every time is backed up by a head-nodding battery of bass and drums that we can't wait to catch live.

This is Probst's first week back on the road in the States from Rabbits Eat Lettuce in Australia, which also happens to be where his label is based.

Tastemaking glitch-hop label Adapted Records is carrying the forthcoming release, and their seal of approval on this album sends a powerful message across the industry.

Filibusta's No Handouts tour hits Columbus, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, and Brooklyn Bowl this week, leading up to the record's release on April 20 when Probst is at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT.

One thing is for sure, you're not rolling the dice when you snag a new track, or catch him in person. No gamble, at all.
