Feint - Promises

Sometimes you just don't have to try very hard to fall in love with something, it just comes naturally. And drum & bass seems to come natural to Feint, a young producing prodigy based in Machester. His latest track, "Promises," which should be out soon on Liquicity, eases you in with encompassing melodic structures and vast open spaces of solid beatwork. While this clip only gives us one climactic explosion of visceral emotion, it's still so powerfully moving and filled with passion. We don't need to hear the whole tune to know that this is something special. Thanks to the cyclical nature of everything, the pendulum has swung back in the direction of drum 'n' bass, and we're going to be seeing a whole new generation of producers returning to the form and really dominating it with some class and grace. Feint is part of that new generation.
