EuphoriaWhile many mainstream festivals have started to looking identical with their top lines containing the same old acts, independent Texas behemoth Euphoria Music Festival has managed to mix things up, while still keeping fans happy.

Returning to Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas from April 6-9, Euphoria is brandishing a wide array of major acts in its latest incarnation. While the festival has grown from an underground sensation to a mainstream contender in its six years, the team behind it has never followed the rules, and this lineup is no exception.

With popular standbys like The Floozies, Papadosio, and The Funk Hunters on the bill, fans know they're getting quality entertainment. And in bringing back Derek Vincent Smith's massive project, Pretty Lights, this time in its live band format, the festival faithful are already celebrating a huge win. But it's interesting picks like Chronixx with Zincfence Redemption as a backing band, NYC's hitmakers The Knocks, and Canadian deep house duo Bob Moses that really made us step back and take a broader look at this initial bill.

Of course, Texas-faves are always represented, with acts like Psymbionic, Brede, and Blunt Force holding it down on the hometown front. We're curious to see who else gets added as a new phase is expected every couple of weeks.
