EAZYBAKEDLong before the hype train rolled into Mariposa, California ahead of The Untz Festival, our scouts across the country were whispering the praises of Andrew Principe and Eric Ray. The Floridians sparked a blunt and raged a sweaty mid-day set on ThazDope Records' stage with blistering originals that snort and snarl, laboring along like a wooly behemoth, as is typical of the EAZYBAKED sound.

Since this summer, the boys have rocketed up the ladder of the underground bass elite. Early last month, they did a four show run through Alabama, Louisian, and Mississippi with Space Jesus. They've also caught the attention of other high-profile producers around the industry and have some big plans in the work.

Next up on the agenda is a brand new EP, which will drop December 22. The first taste of what Ray and Principe are plotting is “Grove,” a slinky, sooty, shadowy beast that lurks in the shadows like a Demogorgon. This fucker is mean, but patient. It lurches from side to side drunk on bass and ready to pounce. There's no question these guys are building a movement behind their inimitable sound. The time of EAZYBAKED has arrived.

Catch them this weekend at Zen Awakening in their home state, and then at the end of next month for Warped Horizon, our partnership with SOMA, Sweet Science, and more in Atlanta for New Year's Eve.
