A couple of Colorado boys who have been banging around the scene for a minute are starting to get their due. Now it's hard to say someone with a 100K+ fans on Facebook like Dirt Monkey has been under the radar, but it's certainly true for DMVU, who many in Denver may know as Damnesia Vu from years back, who is starting to break out thanks in part to releases on Circus Records and the big one “Blocc'd” on TRUTH's Deep, Dark & Dangerous which has been all over the festival world in many incarnations this summer.

Matthew Philpott-Jones and Patrick Megeath come together on “Dolphin Safe,” a thoroughly neckbreakin' tune with much ferocity. With plenty of dolphin samples and some real crisp drums, the cleanness of this cut is what makes it so damn dirty. Flipper would be proud. Dirt Monkey's latest track with PartyWave has been making the festival rounds, as well, and fans can catch both Megeath and DMVU on Infrasound next weekend.
