Vince Seidl has been locked into touring and producing tunes as one-third of Resonant Frequency for the the past three years, but that doesn't mean he's been slacking on the solo side. The Texas trio tours hard, but there were still some Diamond Cuts to be made.
Seidl today premieres his first solo original tune in three years, “Elevate,” and it's full of the future funk we love to hear. Fuzzy synths, vintage amps, and cutting drum work all lay the foundation for this dance floor wrecker.
There's a maturity that comes from all those years on the road, and Seidl knows exactly what he's doing behind the controls of the spaceship. His chops have just gotten that much stronger, and “Elevate” demonstrates exactly where he's at in his development; on another planet. Word is more solo material is on its way out this year.
