DayTrip Music Festival has announced its headliners, and if you live in Chicago (or anywhere near it) you will not want to miss this one. The lineup includes major figures in the EDM community like Alvin Risk, Midnight Conspiracy, Buku, Party Thieves, Louis The Child, Milk N Cookies, Dani Deahl, and DJ Rye.

The series of one-day festivals conquers consecutive Sundays: May 24th & 31st, June 7th and the 14th. This fest has a refreshing and intriguing take on delivering EDM events. They don't recycle the same old acts every year; they employee fresh acts who supply the attendee with an invigorating experience instead of a stale one.

DayTrip is revitalizing the typical festival layout by creating an exciting environment for each of your senses. including. Not just awesomely curated stages, like the 30 foot tall Drum Tower, which rotates 360 degrees, but three different types of parties over the course of the event. You've got the outdoor paint party, there's the foam party, and finally an intriguing snow party. There is a skate park where you can show off your skateboard skills, if you need a break from the music. On top of all this there is a ball pit! That's right, you can release your inner child and jump into a 700 square foot ball pit. They are spicing up the cookie cutter festival experience with contemporary alluring ideas instead of the same old song and dance.

What also makes Daytrip a compelling festival to attendees is that on May 31st they are hosting an all-female lineup. Come join the celebration of making massive strides for women in the EDM community.

One-day tickets are a universal $25 per day or a four day pass for $75. Not bad at all. There are no other levels of ticketing as per their website, "F*ck VIP. Everyone should have equal access to every aspect of the festival. We're tired of watching sectioned off a**holes sitting in air-conditioned tents getting a pedicure." We couldn't agree more!
