The scene: a darkened bedroom. Tears roll down the face of a teen--no, teen wolf--as he stares pensively out a rain-streaked window, the drops running down the pane in time with the tears. Crywolf and Ianborg just don't give a fuck .They make a play as the bad boys of emo bass, and we dig it. I mean... come on. It's beautiful. Justin Phillips and Ian Macleod know how to pen a damn love song. The vocals are crisp and pure, without falling into the danger zone of cheesiness, whatsoever. It's emotive, it's raw, it's an open wound, and the lyric nature of the heartbroken cry for help is answered with bass by the pound. Such a balance of dark and light. MTV is gonna snatch this up and play it under pregnant teens or confused Catfish victims. Or just Teen Wolf.
