Brooklyn duo CREEP released their debut single, Days, yesterday, January 25, through Young Turks.  The single features guest vocals by The xx’s Romy Madley-Croft and remixes on the 12” come from Deadboy and Azari & III.

The duo extend an invitation to their breathtaking, ominous world with the unforgettable video for “Days”.   Directed by Fischerspooner’s Warren Fischer, the chilling video has already been nominated for Best Video and Best Cinematography at the prestigious Camerimage Film Festival.  The video premiered this Tuesday on MTV Subterranean.

“Days” is a ghostly blend of Romy’s ethereal voice and CREEP’s sinister beats, blending tones of goth, shoegaze and R&B to create darkly prophetic and orchestral soundscapes.  On the 12’ release, Deadboy turns ‘Days’ in to 2-step, dancefloor melancholia with Azari & III turning in a 6 minute Chicago house indebted mix.

CREEP are producers/DJs Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard. Lauren Flax is an internationally renowned house DJ and producer.  Stay tuned for upcoming single releases from CREEP which will include collaborations with NYC twins and R&B duo Nina Sky, Nomi Ruiz and Planning to Rock. A full length is planned for 2011.. stay tuned!
