A year back, we were frothing at the mouth over the submission to The Untz Challenge III by LabRat & Jamburglar. A year on, and these NorCal cats are still cranking out incredible tunes at a hot clip. Next week, LabRat releases his Strange Nights EP, and we're proud to toss out a brand spankin' new bootleg from him and his bud the 'burglar. This future funkin', hard-swinging, glitch-hoppin' madcap midtempo reworking of everybody's favorite hate-to-love-him, love-to-hate-him R&B star, Chris Brown, is sutured to the groove. As usual, their bass tones are brutal. It's like they're plucking the high-tension steel cables holding the Golden Gate Bridge above the Bay. Good luck prying this baby out of the pocket.
