Catskill Chill 2015The final year for Catskill Chill at Camp Minglewood from September 18-20 is looking to be an epic one. This farewell lineup brings back key acts who have contributed to the foundation of this festival's success like LotusElectron, Break Science, and Particle to name a few. The lineup is filled with the funk and so immersed with jams you'll be dancing 'til the early morning. The announcement does leave us wanting more as the major headliner will not be announced until June 8th.

Per Catskill Chill tradition, there will be multiple tribute sets; a favorite among the Chillfam.Twiddle will be performing one of its infamous Dead sets. Dopapod and Turkuaz team up as Dopakuaz for a set filled with hits from Studio 54, so you know it'll be a dance party. Shwizz and FiKus are joining forces as ShwiKus to play some classic 80s hits. Finally, the Chillfam All-Stars will perform a Herbie Hancock tribute.

Pink Talking Fish is a tribute act known for their melding of 3 brilliant bands: Pink Floyd, the Talking Heads and Phish. Their sets create wonderful soundscapes that travel through all the bands timeless classics. Merging and shifting through upbeat Talking Heads songs to ethereal Floyd tunes and then sprucing it back up with canonical Phish anthems.
Catskill Chill has a wide range of genres to pick and choose from. You can walk from one stage and see Horizon Wireless slaying the crowd to another and catch Lettuce laying down the funk. One notable act to watch out for is Moon Hooch; they have been taking the festival circuit by storm. They are a trio led by 2 saxophone player's and grounded by a drummer to create this fusion of percussion based dance music.

The final Catskill Chill at Camp Minglewood is going to be one for the books. The grounds, the people, the music, nothing beats it. Get those tickets before it's too late. Visit catskillchill.com for tickets and more info.
