Sonic Bloom 2015 Phase 2

Racing towards its 10th anniversary, SONIC BLOOM today adds a bevy of acts with its massive Phase 2 lineup that adds seminal dubstep act Caspa to its bill, as well as electro-soul prodigy Manic Focus. Wildly popular producers Nominus, SaQi, and Adham Shaikh join the Bloom roster, as do Colorado faves Yamn and The Malah.

Perennial favorite LYNX makes a return, and Lowtemp one-man-band GiBBZ joins the party, as well. One of our absolute breakout stars this year Filibusta gets in the mix, as does Thievery Corp's Rob Garza and ill-esha.

These new acts join livetronica legends STS9 (who will be performing two sets), Simon Posford performing a Shpongle DJ Set, EmancipatorKalya Scintilla & Eve Olution, Desert Dwellers, Thriftworks, Random Rab, Bluetech, Phutureprimitive, VibeSquaD, Janover & reSunator, Andreilien, Russ Liquid, Kaminanda, and festival hosts, ZILLA, among many others.

Hip-hop is well represented by Talib Kweli and Chali2Na, backed by The Funk Hunters, as well as Lafa Taylor and The Fungineers. Newcomer That 1 Guy is not the only one--for the first time ever at SONIC BLOOM, The Trancident will make an appearance, featuring Michael Kang, Kyle Hollingsworth, Michael Travis, and Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident. The Trancident will also form the core of the SONIC BLOOM Orchestra, which features a huge amount of talent.

There's also the SONIC BLOOM SUPERJAM, featuring Dave Watts, Garret Sayers, Joey Porter, Jason Hann, a more, which is a new addition to the Bloom lineup.

From June 18-21, the festival breaks in a new location: Hummingbird Ranch in Rye, CO. Panoramic views of the front range, shaded grounds, open meadows, and a creek will greet fans in the spot, which has plenty of room to grow as the festival continues to expand over the years. The location is a 2.5 hour straight shot down I-25 from Denver, just off the highway.

Fans can lock in their GA tickets for the low, low price of $204 for the full weekend. The includes early entry for Thursday festivities, and as always, primitive camping is free. VIP tickets are also on-sale for $420 for the entire weekend, which allows fans exclusive access to a number of upper level perks. RV passes are also up for purchase at this time.

The Unified Field family reunion is slated for the summer solstice, once again, and the mountains and fresh air of Colorado call to fans of cutting edge electronic music. Join your family up in the mountains to ring in the next decade of underground stars.
