Santa Barbara duo Candyland has been going off with a slew of massive remixes that take on everyone from Lupe Fiasco to Daft Punk and Knife Party. This week, they join forces with Clark Kent to slow things down for a brilliant and bass heavy take on Dublin indie act Slow Skies. “On the Shore” is a definite slow cooker, and the original track’s mellow soulful nature provides a perfect entryway for Candyland to go all in and make a dancefloor smash. It’s an interesting choice for a remix, and Candyland certainly proves that they can handle themselves whether working with a legendary Daft Punk single or the work of a newer music blog darling such as Slow Skies.
