To kickoff their highly anticipated Twilight Frequency tour, Pretty Lights Music labelmates Break Science and Michal Menert joined forces to produce a monster cut with massive potential. "Electric Touch" has that quintessential PLM feel with powerful hip-hop undercurrents guiding throwback soul samples. Deep and mesmerizing, the tune rides the line between lightness and darkness both acts have mastered. "Electric Touch" demonstrates the evolution of hip-hop--we're in the post-bass stage with melody taking precedence over cabinet-rattling mayhem. Borham Lee, Adam Deitch, and Menert are headed out on the road for a number of dates up and down the west coast and into Colorado beginning tomorrow (Oct 2) at the Arcata Theater. Fans are excited to see some cross-pollination in action as the tour progresses, with the hope that even more tracks will leak from the trio as they bust beats in the back of the bus.
